ENCAUSTIC DEMONSTRATION

SUE COOK AND MARIJKE GILCHRIST

Sunday 23 April, 2.30 – 4.30 PM, ASOC STUDIO

Encaustic, meaning, “to burn in”, is an ancient medium using molten beeswax combined with dry pigments and natural resin. It is a very versatile medium that offers a variety of handling methods and exciting creative possibilities.

Occasional workgroups are open to all ASOC members on a session-by-session basis. They include Open Studio on Sundays, ASOC Digital and Occasional Figure Drawing. See the Workgroups page for more information.

PLEIN AIR EXCURSIONS WITH THE OPEN STUDIO ON SUNDAYS GROUP

Members are invited to join Dee Copeland and the Open Studio on Sundays group for plein air sketching and painting in a pleasant social atmosphere. Mostly every second Sunday. See the calendar for details.
