Plein Air with Watercolour

One of the challenges of plein air painting is responding to changes in the weather and light. Learn ways of dealing with this, and the processes involved in creating a composition, mixing colour/tone, playing off negative and positive shapes, and seeking shape and pattern in your work.

All levels welcome.

Draw Digital with Your iPad

This course on 6 Sunday mornings for 3 hours each will develop your knowledge of digital art using Procreate, iPad and Apple Pencil. With a combination of demonstration, instructional texts, homework – and lots of practical work – this will be an exciting and rewarding art experience.

Suits beginners and more advanced iPad/Procreate users.

Life Drawing

Leigh D. Walker

Discover or refine your life drawing skills with acclaimed artist and teacher Leigh D Walker. Work with a small group in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Each week we will work from the model to develop personal technique and understanding of how to draw the nude, while looking at how the human form has been depicted in art.

The classes are informal, fun and instructive, with plenty of room for individual artistic expression and lots of one-on-one tuition. All levels of experience are welcome.

Fearless and Fun Watercolour

Tony White

Why are you frightened? Just get stuck in. It is only paper and paint and water. Just do it!

In this workshop we will focus on bringing you out of your comfort-zone and into the world of loose, vibrant, fresh and free-flowing watercolours. Lose the rigidity that has been plaguing your work. A fresh approach means that your watercolours will come to life. Your inhibitions gone and your own artistic flair will come to the fore. Let’s Create, not duplicate!
